Driving Out Sandy

After Hurricane Sandy, employees from DOT’s Roadway Repair and Maintenance division worked around the clock to clear the roads. Crews removed 131,000 tons of debris and cleared 2,500 tons of dead trees and limbs and from streets affected by the storm.
